The construction of an Energy from Waste facility on land at Ardley Fields Farm in Oxfordshire is programmed to be completed, commissioned and fully operational in the second half of 2014. The civil engineering and building works being undertaken by Clugston in partnership with CNIM.
Once completed the new process plant will have a capacity to process 300,000 tonnes of residual, non-recyclable waste with substantial environmental benefits including the landfill diversion of up to 95 percent of waste delivered to the facility and the generation of up to 24mw of renewable electricity to be supplied to the National Grid and will also be combined heat and power (CHP) enabled.
