The office will provide a closer point of contact for customers in South Korea, combining local market knowledge with total support from the Peppers team. Leading the new office is Jong-Seop (Jace) Kim, whose experience spans procurement, technical requirements, quality and sales. Jace was born in South Korea, university educated in Australia and brings more than a decade of experience across the oil and gas, marine and petrochemical industries.

Jace was previously a Procurement Manager at a leading South Korean engineering company, where he developed an excellent understanding of suppliers, products and the requirements that shape purchasing decisions. He went on to start his own business, supplying raw metal materials to major Korean shipbuilding companies, building relationships within the country’s shipbuilding sector.

Through selling Peppers products, Jace experienced the support available from the company first-hand. That relationship, together with customers’ preference for dealing with a factory representative, led to the establishment of Peppers South Korea.

For customers, the new office will offer a local contact who understands both their commercial priorities and technical requirements, with the added benefit of fluent communication in Korean and English.

The launch strengthens Peppers’ presence in South Korea, creating a foundation for developing relationships across the country’s engineering, shipbuilding and process industries.
